    PM sent!

    BTW all -
I'm a few hundred miles shy of having 10k on the SSO I have in the Solstice.
I'll be interested to see how much life is left when I get around to a UOA. The way I drive, I bet the heat produced from the turbo hasn't done much to shear this oil and I'll probably feel silly for pulling it out sooner than 15k or more...

Got the quote & that sounds good to me.

I'm waiting on a job to start (it's a government contract & they've been BSing for the last 2 weeks. We were supposed to start tomorrow (Thursday) but now it's flooded out.) Once that starts I'll let you know.

Great. That sounds good to me!
I won't be going anywhere (God willing) so I'll be here whenever you're ready.
Whenever is convenient for you will be perfect.

How much for filter part number EaAU3050 out of curiosity? Thanks!

EDIT: That part number may be wrong actually. It's a cone filter with a 2.75" inlet that I'm looking for.

If you're talking about "B" in that picture, Flange Inner Diameter, that 3050 product is 3".
I didn't see a 2.5", if we are talking about the same area, but I will make calls and figure out what fits if need be to get you what you're looking for.
    Let me know!

Well it looks like the one I want is made for Injen intakes and has a 2.75" opening. They have some that are traditional oiled cotton/gauze, which I already have (K&N) and don't want, and then they have the nano fiber one but I can't find the exact part number for it. When you look up the Injen intake for my car it's a 3" pipe but I have a NISMO intake with a 2.75" pipe so I'm not sure what to look for. As best I can tell the part number is X-1013-BB but I don't know if I buy it from Amsoil or Injen.

I appreciate it more than you know.
I see the Injen kit you're talking about and will be getting to the bottom of what filter # that is, as those specs don't show up on their site.
Hopefully, I'll get it tomorrow and get it to you quickly.

Anyone looking for an INJEN intake system?
I noticed they have them out for the new(er) STIs and Evos, etc., and thought there might be someone interested in getting it for way below retail this time of year.

I got the oil I had in the GXP tested.
The UOA came out really well, especially for a over 10k miles in a turbo vehicle.
I'm pretty happy with it, so I'll be interested to see the results as time goes by.

    Whew, been away too long...

I ought to get to posting the UOA one of these days if I get around to it.
I've got to change the oil in the truck for the first time in a year. The car I'll probably UOA at 10k, 15k, and so on until I feel like I want to pull the plug. Because it likely won't fall in the dead of winter (for here), I'll bet I push 20k this time, but who knows.

    Bump for anyone in need!
