It depends on the occasion. Where will you be going?
I am thinking of going out on a date this weekend with my girlfriend. How should I dress ? Will a t-shirt and jeans be ok ?

Well, in that case, it really depends on the door policy and whether or not there's a dress code in place.If I were you, I'd try to find out which club beforehand, and if possible, give them a call just to double check.

Definitely premium denim, like 7's, Lucky, Citizens, R&R, Diesel or True Religion. Those are the only acceptable ones. Don't let anyone on Style Forum tell you differently, if you should frequent there. Pair that with a button-down shirt from Guess, Express, Diesel, etc... and you are golden. Better keep your girlfriend close though because the ladies will be all over you.
Oh shit I almost forgot, cologne! Aqua Di Gio, Curve, Chrome, or some sort of Ralph Lauren product.
